Judging Countries By "The Content Of Their Character"


This is a photo of America's "real" Industrial Revolution

By the time 1807 rolled around, 4 out of every 5 people who came to America was from Africa. The country was moving about 400,000 lbs. of cotton then. By the beginning of the Civil War (1860) that number had swelled to 2 billion lbs. How'd America achieve that, without some new innovation in cotton production?
